PROJECT OVERVIEW

Layton Construction Company worked with McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center and at the time, Quorum Health Program Manager, Jody Reilly, to deliver a large-scale campus expansion to update the aging facility. This project was awarded in response to the successful completion of the new hybrid operating room at the same facility. 

This project leveraged an integrated project delivery (IPD) approach, allowing for a collaborative approach designed to maximize owner value, reduce waste, and optimize project results. 

This project included multiple renovations, make-ready work, and demo projects, as well as a: 

• New four story patient tower expansion (including patient wing demolition)
• New central plant
• New hospital entrance
• New surgery and emergency departments 

The new surgery and emergency departments included multiple renovations, as well as a PACU addition, central sterile renovation and grades, and day-surgery renovation.
